Sandford Hall Sontforde Family Shropshire Wine Bottles

On offer is a rare opportunity to purchase a piece of Shropshire history. These three bottles were found back in the mid 1990,s whilst draining the lake at Sandford Hall Claverley, near Shrewsbury. The house has a 1000 years of history associated with many owners beginning with Gerard de Tournai who bequeathed it too Thomas de Saundford around the time after the Norman conquest. I am listing all three bottles which each have there own appeal from the muddy example that is unwashed and two others. No major damage can be seen apart from the odd chip to seal or lip.
