Rare Half Size Unique Mallet Bottle

Here we have the first of the collection of antique wine bottle forms and what a wild shape it is! The proportions are half size with a straight sided body and has the most unique blob top string rim. Good honest wear runs around the bottle with no chips or cracks. Large sand pontil to base. Height 8 inches, width 3.5 inches. English or Scottish C1760/70.
