Mortlock & Co Doulton Lambeth Whisky Bellarmine Jug

A great looking bellarmine jug modelled on the 17th century jugs of the time. The mask is particularly well done and unusually the belly is emblazoned with Whisky which I have not seen before with these jugs. Made by Doulton for Mortlocks, a well know china supplier in London. There is a solid silver collar dated 1894. Height 9.5 inches, width 5.5 inches. Good condition. C1903 onwards.
