Half size squat body sealed bottle that reads Joao Antonio Pereira E,souza. This bottle was ordered from a UK glassworks for export to Portugal. Height 8 inches, width 3.5 inches.  Deep circular pontil mark. Only two examples are recorded. This bottle has a lovely large struck seal with full body gloss. One pinprick ding on lip otherwise mint condition. Late 18th/early 19th century. **The Beilby glassworks order book for 15 August 1795 mention this bottle**
