Pot Bellied Saltglaze Stoneware Jug German

A great half sized jug with fantastic tiger glaze all over the body. The flood of German stoneware from dig sites is well known but this example is not a waster or reject having been shipped from Germany as a well produced production piece. A single line/ring runs around the top. Typical wire marks on the base when removed from the wheel. Height 5.5 inches, width of body 4 inches. Two old inner rim chips and a couple of tiny foot chips only, no other damage or restoration. German C1620/50
