Apothecary Onion Bottle C1800

A great example of a lipless onion bottle used in the pharmacy. Nice squat neck form. Large pontil mark to base with remnants of iron oxide from the pontil rod. An attractive dark olive green colour with lots of impurities and bubbles in the glass. Height 10 inches, width 10 inches. C1800
