Antique Black Glass Wine Bottle Wyke Farm 1781

A fine example of a black glass sealed wine bottle named Rd Hill Wyke Farm 1781. Only two examples are recorded, this is the better undamaged bottle. Height 9 inches, width 4.5 inches. Wyck means dairy in old English. Several possible contenders for attribution but none have been authenticated. The mention of a farm is rarely seen on sealed bottles which makes this very unique. Tiny nibble on string rim only, no other issues. AC Hubbard collection.
