Rare York Glass Company Patent LUG Oil Chemist Bottle

Only known example? of a rare cobalt blue glass oil bottle OL:CAJUPUT. The base has the York Glass Company logo. The stopper has an engraved 3 on it with the bottle having a number 17. Height 8 inches, width 2.5 inches. This is the first blue bottle like this I have ever seen and was only aware of clear glass examples. The neck area where the stopper fitted has several stress cracks although none are visible unless held to the light.The lip has a tiny nibble chip with lots of dried contents still on it. The stopper also has small sliver chips on the tip and the label has minor distress. Despite the damages this is still worthy of any quality bottle collection. C1890/1900
