Rare Queen Anne Westerwald Stoneware Ale Jug

Rarely seen ale jug with AR (Anna Regina) badge. The body is picked out in manganese flower heads and buds with a cobalt blue background. One small chip on top rim and one on the edge of the foot have been well repaired. Queen Anne only reigned for 5 years on her own but with her husband William continued until her death in 1714. No cracks or stress cracks. Height 6 inches. C1702/1707.
