Black Glass Alloa Masons Mallet Decanter

A very unusual and rare decanter form in black glass. Two crudely applied rings are trailed around the top neck area to copy typical clear glass decanters of the period. Unusually the glass blower has had some fun by dipping the lip in white enamel to give a spotted decorative look.Height 8.3/4 inches, width 5 inches. Minor scratches to body.
