Fabulous advertising dish for Chivers Jam and Marmalades. Highly decorative shell bowls with ornate handle. The Chivers family originated in Cambridgeshire and began producing jams from the 1840,s. By the 1890,s they were one of the largest companies in the UK. Impressed mark for Furnival (Stoke on Trent)Trade Mark with anchor. Length 8 inches, width 5 inches.
